  • Animation is an effective tool for visualising abstract or complex ideas, making them more engaging and easier to grasp.

Why should I use animation with my research?

    Style Types

Smooth, professional and cost effective (£)

Nice textures with a personal feel. (££)

Unique ‘stand out’ design with a natural connection. (£££)

    The Process

    • Chat

We start all our projects with an in-depth chat about your project, your ideal final product and who you want to share it with
    • Pre Production

Next step is to make a script and storyboard (a storyboard is the visual plan for the animation). Using the storyboard, we work together to ensure all the information and story is correct.
    • Voiceover

If needed, we will record voiceovers and make an animatic. An animatic is a rough version of the film made with storyboard images and the soundtrack.
    • Production

Animation Time! We animate the film in your chosen style.
    • Finalise

Once the film is made we will add the titles, logos and captions.

    Whats included

    • English captions
    • Music track
    • 2 rounds of revisions (at storyboard stage)
    • Full high definition video

Working with Sophie is like pitching to a funding panel. You need to have your message clear and know your audience.

Sophie challenges and supports in equal measures leading to amazing ways of framing and communicating your work, and reaching audiences who typically do not engage with academic research.
